What Wine does is that it loads and redirects Windows system calls to Wine replacements. This means the speed of the executable is often close to that of native Linux applications.

While the Linux and Wine platform solution is not officially listed as being compatible with our sitemap generator, chances are that it will work with few or no problems. Should you encounter issues not mentioned in the Linux and sitemap generator tool help page, do please let us know!

Ever wondered if you should create video sitemaps for your website, but didn’t because you hosted your videos on 3rd party video websites like YouTube?

Now our sitemap generator tool not only supports normal external video hosting/delivery solutions, but also sites like e.g. YouTube. (Should you encounter problems with a video hosting/delivery service, ask in sitemap generator support forums for having support added!)

Not long ago, en email popped into my inbox from Tom Edwards, a user of my
sitemap generator product. He had made a video showing some of the tools in the A1 Sitemap Generator software!

Seeing that making videos is something that I’ve never been able to pull off to
a degree that was acceptable, I immediately emailed him back if he would be
interested in making some more videos of A1 Sitemap Generator and its sibling
website related tools

And sure, he was! While there are more videos coming (cut at different lengths
for various purposes, e.g. product introduction and specific sitemap tutorials) the
first make sitemaps video has been uploaded to YouTube! The video is an introduction to website sitemaps, and it demonstrates how to use A1 Sitemap Generator to crawl websites, create sitemaps, FTP upload files and sitemap ping the search engines.

The Apple Macintosh (or just Mac in short) computer has always been popular in website, webmaster, graphics, photographers and other similar media companies and communities.

While our sitemap generator tool still has not been ported to the Mac platform I am happy to announce that, based on customer reports, A1 Sitemap Generator should run perfectly on Mac computers using Parallels. (Check VMware Fusion for an alternative.)

I can now finally announce that A1 Sitemap Generator version 3 has been released!

A lot of work went into this release as changes have been many “on the inside” to ensure it is fully Unicode from A to Z… Or actually much more

The upgrade is mostly relevant to people dealing with multiple language websites in Middle, Eastern and Far Eastern countries. Of course, there will also be a steady stream of improvements rolling into 3.x from now on! Regarding version 2.x series, the last release will be 2.4.0 unless a critical issue is discovered!
